Electrical gremlins
« on: 27 April 2011, 15:12 »
Hi All

I have had a problem with my drivers rear electic window not working for a while, and since the drivers front packed up over the weekend i had a look at them yesterday
On finding nothing a miss with the regulators i put it down to fooked motors

Anyway today after driving around with the passenger window out to flick my fag ash out of, i had the brain wave to use the sunroof, so pulling out of the works carpark i pressed the drivers window button by misstake and the sunroof started to shut

So to sum up, both the drivers side front and rear window buttons close the sunroof when it's open and do nowt to the windows

Has anyone had a similar issue?
Are the electrical circuits for the sunroof and electric windows linked in any way?

Looks like i've got some electrical fault finding to do
One day we will be going on holiday in Miley the camper

hi mate im no expert but i reckon their circuits are linked some how because of the total closure facility
dont think your motors will be fooked, probably the cables on the reg jammed up behind the pulley ,mine were, the same side aswell, remove the motor and plug it back in,see if it works
