ABF engine right?

First picture is of the EVAP valve and the air intake temp sensor plug. So to confirm you have deleted the air intake temp sensor by using the induction kit? In which case you'll need to drill a hole in the intake pipe, fit the sensor and plug it in. Unless you want to extend the existing wiring and fit it elsewhere but it'd only have the same effect.

The second picture is of the idle switch which should mount on the back of the throttle body and is adjusted to detect when the throttle is closed. Is hard to find a picture of i but hope this gives you some idea showing how the throttle body part rests against the idle switch. Any ideas why its off and is your car running ok?

thanks! :)
the induction kit iv got at the moment is a k&n and came with the car, plug goes straight into that....
just wondering if i need it or anything?
dont really want to be drilling the new induction seeing as it cost alot!

dont really sure the other plug is disconnected. the car has been running fine yep, only noticed it the other day. il see about re attaching it now and seeing if the car reacts any different :)
what difference does it make having it on or not?

Is there an air temp sensor about anywhere? I'd do my best to try and use it as the engine control unit reads the air intake temps and adjusts fuelling accordingly. It can and evidently run without it though but economy may be hurt a bit?

I know that the idle switch doesn't need to be connected up as when I first bought my car the wiring to it was all burnt where it sits above the exhaust manifold. After I repaired the wiring the car didn't do anything different but I'm assuming fuelling is decreased when the engine is at idle. Worth to check the loom that goes to this switch as its quite common for the wires to break.
