how low can you go?

hi
New to all this golf stuff, just bought my self a gt tdi 130, wondering how low low you can go on 18" and 19" wheels. Dont want it to catch or scrape as i have to get people in the back or alot of equipment.
any pics of different rims 18 and 19s would be great with different drops

Wheel size shouldn't make a difference to how low you can go, as you'd obviously choose a tyre profile which kept your total wheel diameter correct at 636mm (give or take a few mms).  Mine's dropped 40mm, on 17" Audi TT Rims (see pic below).

Mines dropped 40mm on 19"s  :grin:
