buying a mk2 golf. help please
« on: 18 March 2005, 18:26 »
Hi all, Thanks for reading this post

I'm going to look at a golf gti 16v on tuesday, traveling 200 miles, and was just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas of what to look for. Its oak

green with 130,00 miles, is that alot,. with full service history. The guy said its a very clean example but its had 6 owners from new. He is asking 1495 for it, Is

that about right, and it is completely original.

I really appreciate any tips and information you may have. thx loads

yeah thats about the right price and a supposed rare colour lol. Jus check the clutch and gearbox, all the expensive bits really as most other parts are quite cheap, especially 16v stuff on ebay, there's loads of spares about.
