Greetings from sunny Dorset
« on: 15 March 2011, 14:52 »
Hi all, as my first post I'd thought i would ramble on a bit about me.

I've owned a 07 MK5 GT 170 DSG for a year now, and have had a couple of issues so far...

Auto is boring, but I get to used to it and forget to flip the paddle shift in manual!!!!! lol
Diesel injector went, AA would only tow to VW dealership...£800 later my car was running again
Emissions sensor went... more expense!
Parking sensors have developed a fault, dealer wanted £££'s to repair... needless to say not fixed...

Apart from that, it's a lovely looking car, dark blue with charlstone 18"s and full leather int.
Sadly now it's due a cambelt, and a service when all i really want to save up for is a remap and some coilovers...

Hopefully someone knows a quick cheap parking sensor fix !!!!!! cheers guys
Mk5 GT DSG - completely standard... for now ;-)
Mk1 Skoda Octavia VRS - about to be sold on eBay
Honda CBR 125R - as above when i can legally ride....
Suzuki GSXR 600 k1
