I have not looked at the link yet as i don't want to screw my cookies up but

Anyone know the part number for the stalk etc for a 2010 mk6 GTI?

Snoopy, I used the below on my MY10 Roc R.

Slip ring controller 5K0 953 569H

Stalk 5K0 953 502 B 9B9

The set up on a MY10> Roc was different to a 59 plate.  The two stalks come as one piece, and the SW cont is part of the slipring.  It is all fairly easy to do, SW off, 3 screws and a few plugs and the Slipring and SW cont comes off, 3 spring clips and the Stalks pull off, then the reverse and code.

There appears to be a few part numbers 1K0 953 513 G 9B9, 1K0 054 690 B, 1K0 054 690 A I know it says Jetta but they are common on alot of models. Just Google the part numbers.

I've been thinking about getting a cruise control switch. If you Google it there are loads fitting tips and kit needed on different models.

The thing is VW don't do things simply you can't screw the switch on from the side you have to remove the wheel. Anyone got any tips about removing the wheel and airbag that we should watch out for?
Thanks guys. Mine was made in Build week 6 of 2010 so im not sure which one it maybe. I will have to pull it tobits to find out. :undecided:
