American Indicators as running lights

right iv got myself some us bumper indicators. now instead of running them as indicators (for the moment as i dont fancy 3 lots on the front) im going to use them as running lights.
now they literally come as a blank, no bulb no harness or anything.

just want to check can i simply splice the cable that is for the side lights (does any one know which colour wire it is) then also how can i connect it to the actual light as doubt running it straight to a bulb would work.

they suggest in the advert to just use the harness from the wing but that would be to use it as an indicator, so any help would be hot!

I've just fitted a running light into my indicator by drilling a side light holder into the back of it. Earth was connected to the indicator earth and the feed came from tue side light which is the thinnest wire on the headlight plug. I think it's got a grey stripe running thru it.

Made the connections removable with bullets and soldered onto the wires.
