My names Aaron from Australia, Im new the forums, look forward to joining the active community here.
One of the main reason's I joined is I am looking for some help with my Golf gti mark 6, I need to get some wires through the fire wall.
Has any hear heard of laser jammers? I recently purchases some M27's from
www.radarsdirect.com.au , so they are authentic. Basically they have informed me of where to mount the heads (picture attached) but Im not sure where to start where mounting the CPU or getting the wires through the firewall.
Has anyone here carried out this operation before, managed to find a spot to locate the CPU on the weekend near the steering wheel, but I can't see where to get the cables through the firewall. I drilled a pilot hole where I can see some cables leaving the engine bay but this just gets me to a void that exists under the windscreen wiper (And you can see from outside the car) but not into the cabin.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
