If you want to sort it with paint, it's going to need scuffing right up but not so hard that it looses the texture, plastic priming, 2 pack primer and then matte paint and if you wanted lacquer with 2 pack.

The EASIEST/cheapest way would be second hand bumpers if you can find some in good condition.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

You often see decent looking bumpers on eBay for £20 - £30

5hrs today and looks like this now, just need to finish the grill off, thought while I was there I may aswell do that aswell! :) and all being well i should have hella quads aswell for the front..

Also need to do arches and rear bumper now.. :) never ending..

I know I  need to leave it a few days, but whats good for protecting it now it's painted? Just usual polish?

Cheers for all your help and suggestions. Hope it lasts! May have to put the full frontal bra on I got, but ideally need it lowering for that to look any good....

After 3-4 coats of primer

After 3-4 coats of Matt black

After 3-4 coats of lacquer

Now drying

Back on the car

Close up, looks pretty good in most places, but are a few imperfections where couldn't get it smooth enuff, didn't wanna wreck the bobbles.....
