Manual Air Con to Electronic???????

Is it possible just to replace the manual air con unit with the electronic air con unit in a MkIV Golf 2001?

No, its not just the controls that are different. Masses of wiring and sensors would all need changing. If you want climatronic, best way is to sell your car and buy one with it already fitted.
