As the title say's my Mk3 is not well !

Got a 95 on an N-plate, GTI 2.0 8v colour concept 5Dr about 3 week's ago, and everything is great with the car but, when you boot it she literally coughs and splutter's and the rev's drop off at 5k rev's ! :cry:

Can anyone please help ????

oh i have changed the oil and filter, timing belt, dizzy cap, rotor arm, ht leads, plugs and crank sensor !

Have you scanned it with a Vagcom?

If the revs are dropping off at 5k then I suspect the cam timing is out.

No guy's she hasnt been plugged in to vagcom or tech2

I'm a little worried as this is the third 3 ive had and the engines gave up on both 97 8v and 95 cabby !

If the limiter kicks in at 5000rpm then it's running in safemode, which means timing is out or there's a problem with the hall sensor.

Suspect timing or hall sensor given up.. Vagcom would confirm! Have a see if any one in ur area has one in diag section..  :)
