Inspire me (With mods)
« on: 02 March 2005, 22:44 »
My valver is presently totally standard - I am looking to carry out the smaller mods at the moment, for example Dizzies headlamp mod, lights on warning buzzer etc.  If anyone has further ideas i'd like to hear them.  I will be lowering and getting 16" wheels a bit later as most of my budget has gone on servicing and other new bits that were needed.

Cheers

Go for the good old drilled airbox. Personally i didnt like the idea of drilling it so i just pulled off the bit that sticks out on the wing side leaving a nice big hole for air. If your feeling clever you can even route a cold air feed to it from the bumper. I also blocked of the little round opening on the back of the box that goes to the manifold so that no hot air would be sucked in.

You can also pick up strut braces quite cheap of ebay which are easy to fit and will improve the handling.

we had a thread about cheap/free mods if money is tight. you'll have to look back a little way to find it but there was some good stuff on there.
