most top end cars have this fitted as standard.. VXR's and Nissan R35's under heavy heavy braking the brake lights flash.. so all is above board and legal.. dont mean an MOT tester wont fail it lool

Are you shore its the Brake lights that do this? I would say its the Hazerd light that come on rather than the Brake. I even thing the Mk5 golf has this.

on VXR's for definite the high level brake light flashes upon hard braking..

vosa mot test book say

' shows other than a steady red light when the service brake is appiled, or remains on when the brake is released'


in other works it would fail the mot test

really? didnt think they did, my mate was infront of me in his vxr the other day and someone pulled out infront of him so he broke pretty hard and didnt see it flash. could have just been me not noticing or something like or him not breaking hard enoguh to activate it
