Hello guys im from south wales (rhondda) currently own a MK 4 GTTDI and just bought a MK2 golf driver.
no pics yet but will sort it when when i get a chance.
Both golfs are in need of a healthy make over as both of them are currently sorn and not in the best condition
MK4 needs an engine swap and near enough all other systems (suspention, cooling, brakes the lot) kinda drove it to destrtuction
so spur of the moment bought a MK2 5 door 1.6 auto driver as a quick fix and a run around (or so i thought) got it home and after a good look over i best be changing the engine (kinda a theme here).
So been checking it out and the ABF lump looks promising auto to manual looks simples.
I got the tools and the know how (HGV technician) and a mate is kindly letting me use his lock up for any work needed.
I will be asking Q's mainly on the MK2 but will also be doing a damn thourough build thread for ya all.
