998 vag 153 immobiliser 1997 convertable -- how to by pass it for ever

is there some simple way  to just bypass / disable it  ?

keys are not chipped

when you  press the fob  it takes ages for the indicator lights to stop flashing  ---- starter turns over but within 10 seconds the indicators start to flash again

car has bee sitting not running for 3 months  --- prior to this did not have a problem

Well it could be removed, might be worth getting the battery tested first as low voltage will not be helping.
