Missing through the gears

Hi help please my clipper has started missing when I put my foot down it happens from 2nd all the was to 5th it's like there's no power there then it will just kick in, the car is fine when it's warmed up and runs like it should, just seems to happen when It first starts first time everytime any ideas

take one of the wires off the main pump, then turn the key 1 click, should hear the in-tank pump prime that is, if your pump primes on 1st turn of key. if not you'll have to crank it over and listen carefully for the sound of the lifterpump. its under the rear seat, you'll see a round black metal disc under there
