Bit of help and advise needed. The clutch has gone the anni. Was reversing and it wouldnt come out of reverse just jammed in. Turned engine off so to stop the clutch spinning it still wouldnt release out of reverse so pumped clutch a few times and it finally release. Fired car back up and it wouldnt engage any gear was just grinding. When the engine is off and the clutch isnt spinning i can get all gears so i had to put it in second then fire car up and go. Driving home i could change gears but they where abit stiff but by the time i got home the only gear i could get was 2nd it just wouldnt go in any other gear.
I know the clutch has gone but is it an easy or hard job to change the clutch on a 16v? Also what parts will i need other than new clutch plates?
If i took it to a garage what price would i be looking at?
