hi,just bought a mk4 gti ,totally lovin it so far,few things to do but wont be going silly with the mods, mains areas are some bodywork issues and a wheel refurb, a good clean inside, try find a vw first aid box and warning triangle for boot, some little things like aero blades, black vw badges, need some locking nuts, dust caps, depending after interior clean might need new mats and find a grommet for dewipering rear, remove badly fitted tints.

quick question i've seen people talking about there engines  like aug 120ps what's that about and how do i find out mine?
also my car has a rabbit looking thing beside gti on boot whats that about?

cheers and hi

andy

Hi and welcome... nice car.... I'm guessing th badge looks like this.

The golf in the USA was called a rabbit up to the mk5 I believe.. some people think it's cool to badge their UK car up as one.
