Cupcakes and a Nikon

Decided to take some pictures of my birthday cupcakes, borrowing the OH's Nikon, and they've turned out pretty snazzy.

mmm... yummy!

have a play about with the contrast a bit.. especially on the third one... might bring it to life a touch more

Really like the composition on the 3rd one. Like Guy said, give the levels a tweak and you're onto a winner!

some nice shots, maybe a slightly smaller aperture and lose the lamp.

Yah I shall be tweaking them a little to see what I can come up with.  :smiley:

Unfortunately all of the cupcakes have been ate so alas can't compose it minus the lamp.
