i think you mean toyo proxes t1-s. every one seems to like these tyres and they look nice, but other people i know say your paying for a name and that they aren't worth the hype people seem to give them. but like i say alot of people use them.
just go to halfords to get a bulb, get the best you can afford. mk2 lights are notoriously crap so you could also buy one of dizzies uprated headlamp looms! (free plug there diz!!)

cheers for the plug dude

I'm using toyos on the back and yokes on the front. I wasn't impressed with toyos when I first had them and they will be replaced with another set of yokes when they wear out.

As for bulbs I'm using cheap 100w ones and they're awesome. there's on blueish tint to them though, but they're bright as hell combined with the uprated loom

So are the Yokohama's that much better than Toyo's? I've Toyo's all round and must say the grip on offer is good. Are you talking about A539's? Perhaps i'll be switching when this set is cooked.

Does anyone else find the back end of their Golf really good fun to play with (that could sound pretty bad couldn't it) - I'm on about the sideways direction anyway?

In the wet most bends are fair play, a bit of lift-off oversteer mid-corner. In the dry, well it just depends on if your brave!

Anyway - these loom's. There's a good tech here: http://www.matey-matey.com/uprated_headlight_wiring.shtml
(Dizzie hope i'm not revealing your knowledge! For ?20 you can't go wrong)

that's the diagram you use yes. if you want to buy the bits and make your own by all means go for it. personally I'm thinking of stopping doing them once I've made all the looms I have bits for. it's takes up a lot of my time making 15 in 1 go. It'll cost you almost ?20 for the bits to make them whereas I charge ?20 all ready to go. I can only do this as I buy my parts in bulk and save a few quid.

I prefer A539's over proxies. that's just me.

If you're selling them why not increase the price a bit and make a few more?

I had A539s in my G40 and they were the most dangerous wet weather tyre I have ever used. That said I have never used them on a Golf so it aint so fair to compare.

In the dry the 539s are in a different class to anything that I have used yet, but this aint a very dry country unfortunately.
