Bonnet cable broken... (Pics of fix.)
« on: 09 January 2011, 16:11 »
Arse.

First thing to go wrong with the car since I bought it.

Luckily I scrapped the old one in a local scrap yard so I know where to find another one.

Temporarily fixed.

Took a little JDM inspiration and made this:

Hellafükt.

Who says I'm not down with the kids?

It's only temporary until I fit a proper one.

Just out of curiosity was that a tag torn from the inside of your t-shirt?

Also, did you take those pictures using one of these?

Haha!

The little tag thing was from a carabiner I was given at en e-safety thing... Didn't think it'd be useful but it ended up saving a lot of ballache trying to get the bonnet open again.

The pics were taken with a lomography emulator.

It's not so great in the dark!

My initial thoughts were that they did look sorta...kinda...almost Lomo-like but then almost instantly dismissed that idea as why the hell would he have used one of those cameras to illustrate a fault on his car. They're not exactly renowned for their macro definition.

The lomo app for iPhone has a very handy photobucket upload feature.

Highly recommend it!
