i read that last night and thought it was awesome and very anal.. shame to say though that that mk1 probably wont ever be driven again  :sad:

The DIY plating will last just as long as getting it done at a platers.. just most people cant be arsed with the process.. do you think that guy would put that much effort into plating that last 6 months ??

Exactly... Well I will be having ago next winter project me thinks...

the work he has done is awesome... but its now a show car isn't it

while I like a clean engine bay, and this is one of the better ones... I prefer to see one whizzing about on the roads with the top down and the music up!
