Doc, it seems me and you work quite well. As I have the knowledge when it comes to Macs

I've had Macs for the past 7 years and I can say I'd never go back!
If you have monitors and keyboards etc then yes, Mac mini may be great but I'd look at getting an iMac, for a few hundred pounds more, you're getting a lot more for your money. You could go with a used one from ebay, mine is 4 years old and still only had 1GB of RAM installed, and still beats newer windows machines!
The new 22 inch screen is lovely and the newer ones are LED backlit

But my older 20" is hooked up to another 20" Apple Cinema display, and I love my set-up! Honestly mate, try it and you'll never look back. The new processors with a little RAM tweak will open iTunes in seconds

and all will be compatible with iPods iPhones iPad etc, I'd say Macs even have more compatibility then Windows, never had an issue with my Nokia or HTC phones
