First shoot of 2011 *few more added*

Finally after about 6 wks of trying to arrange this I finally sorted out a shoot with my friend Vicky and my friend Ami who did the make up, took a ton of photos got to try and pick the best but here is the first.

Not sure if i prefer the bw or colour?

Got about 25 images we are happy with need to sit down and go through them, going to take an age!

Great photo!

Definitely the colour one, the monotone one is really lacking contrast, whilst a head and shoulders crop would be a good high key, the rest of the photo isn't blownout enough for this to work e.g. the pattern on the sofa and the shadow under her back.

Only thing I'd change on the colour one would be a different sofa to go with the theme, other than that probably your best one so far

I hear you!  Be nice to have a big budget for props, MUA and stylists but until you're working for FHM it's making the most of what you've got.

Look forward to seeing the rest of the images from the shoot!

im lucky to have a friend who is a MUA and she did some great work last night really makes a difference, there was a fair bit of sittign around on last night while they were doing the make up and going through her clothes. Took around 4 and abit hours to do with 4 changes in clothes and a ton of photos was good fun and mentally draining! haha

Love these pics!
She's very striking especially with the styling that you've gone for.
Might just be a personal thing but I quite like fairly blown photos but I do agree that the last on is a bit too far gone. I also think that the style of the sofa works quite well. The fabric gives a good sense of texture.
