I'd want to know a lot more about the car before I bought it without an MOT
Tax band J is £129.25 for 6 months or £235 for 12

Yeah. I bought mine with a snapped cambelt and no MOT or tax but I found a project thread. Flew throught it's MOT after two wishbones.
