Halfords extreme brilliance as an emergency buy. Seems just as bright as the Philips. Cost £24.99 for two. (On special offer)

I've noticed some of the bulbs have a VW emblem on the tip. Presumably you cant get replacements for those if they go

Think you will find the emblem is actually part of the housing. Think most of the vw's have that now from 05(?) onwards unless of course the are HID.
