Insurance and declaring mods.

Hiya so my insurance know about whats done to my to my golf already.

But I have so more lined up. I have my angel eyes and lower fogs here waiting to go on, I'm waiting for my rear tints in the post and i want to get myself a new exhaust at some point this year. (3" sport cat)

If i tell them about all 3 now its gonna cost me an extra 220 a year. But if i do the lights and tints together its still approx 220 give or take a couple of quid. Then if i tell them about the exhaust when i get round to buying and fitting it. There will be an additional charge of 220 to what i would already have paid, totaling 440. Its crazy but thats how it would work 

So my idea was to tell them about all 3 get myself some sh!t exhaust tip (which you cant see because its hidden behind the rear valence.) Then when i have the time and money get my shiny new exhaust And its still comes under the same mod on there forms?

Last thing the would expect would be telling them about mods you haven't done.... 

Am i beating there system or missing something

I always declare current and future mod's so I don't run the risk of being uninsured, I also pay less with all the mod's declared and my insurers know what's fitted and what's not (call them and explain, if there any good they will understand)

can you not ring up and say you want to declear all the mods, the lights so that they come into affect in a week or so then the exhaust so that it comes into effect at this date. most companies you can do that??
