interior question

just wondered if anyone knows what the red interior in the early mk2 gti models (small bumper 1987) was called as i am looking for a replacement drivers seat??

anyone?

See if you can find a decent passenger seat out of a 5 door, and then do some seat surgery. Your chances of finding a decent driver's seat in that trim are pretty remote.

Lol, I'm fairly sure I've got one in mint nick in storage! But won't be until past xmas till I can check it to be sure. PM me around the 27th and I'll check for you.

I had never thought of needing a 5 door one so as not to have the tilt handle in the wrong place.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
