Advice please re Golf GT TDI with DSG

sorry if there is already a post about this (couldn't find one) or im posting in the wrong place.

i am currently deciding whether to buy the above car and looking for advice and thoughts on the dsg gearbox and maintaining it. the car is quite high mileage for the age and out of warranty - tad concerned it will be expensive mistake if it goes wrong  :embarassed: car has always been maintained by vw an well looked after. fluid has been changed.

If you have a warranty and it covers it fine, if not I would think about giving it a miss, lots of money when they break.
