Mk4 Golf Gti- Drivers Seat Lever???

Hi all,

I have a mk4 golf gti. The drivers seat lever, which allows the seat to slide backwards and forwards and broken.

The cable is still there but the part that it connects to has snapped off, therefore cannot move seat 

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or what to type in on searches?

depends how much your wanting to spend  the dealers can be a bit of a rip off. tried scrap yards? its only a lever so can proberbly get it cheep (or put it down trousers and say they didnt have the part you need  not promoting steeling though  ) doesent exactly need to be new as its a lever, they dont exactly get used a great deal can safely say ive only touched mine 3 times since ive bought the car.

or ebay, im not sure on which lever you mean thought ( the one to move the seat backwards and forward or the one to tilt it back and forth so someone can get in the back? ) but ive just searched on ebay for mk4 golf seat leavers and a few came up.

Yeah had a look on ebay but couldnt find any.

Its the lever which allows you to move the seat backwards and forwards along the rail.

yeah thats a good option. or look in the splitting section in the clasifieds on here, someone may have one
