Maybe a bit various, but my car has several "clunking" issues;

1. She clunks like hell over bumps, soumds as if there is no suspension sometimes.
2. When at low speed coming on/off the power can also clunk.
3. Gently braking at low speed, again, clunks.
4. Slightly different but sometimes when stationary at idle I get an occasional "shudder" through the car as if the engine "shudders"

I am fairly handy when it comes to DIY but I do not know a sure-fire way of telling what needs doing, I do not want to replace all engine/suspension mounts and all bushes if they are not needed.

If you can help me that would be great.

Sounds like a couple of the probs could be your front wishbone arm bushes, they cause clunking when braking and going over bumps etc, engine could be dog bone mount or worst case could be flywheel on the way out.

Does it do it going round corners also? or just on braking and moving off? if it is also doing it around corners , sound like coild be Saspention top mounts. Just changed my mates Anny ones as it was making a simler sound. Ones side had seazed and just fell to bits when we took it off as water had got in and rusted up the bearings. This is what thay look like.

Have a look at hte ARB bushes also as these could also be nackerd.

TRANSFORM, & ROLL OUT!
