mk2 16valve fog light problem
« on: 08 February 2005, 13:16 »
hi ive connected my foglights to the switch under the header tank but the problem im getting is that everytime i switch the foglight switch on the dash, the fuse shorts out.  Used a 20 amp fuse and still doesnt  work.  Do i need a massive fuse in there or what? Anyone got any idea what the problem is??
Driving me nuts
cheers

Sounds like a wire is shorting out on bare metal somewhere. If so its a case of painfully tracing the wires and looking for splits.

try a new switch. MK2 switches are crap and easily break
