HELP!! dash gone mental at me

ok so a problem

started with dash reading wierd lettering and speedo and rev counter not working with fuel and temp gauge off the scale turned car off came back started it up temp gauge and fuel the same lcd is reading normal now and speedo is fine rev counter is working but instead of starting on 0 its starting on 3,000 revs so when im actly on 2,000 its reading 5,000 revs haha but idles normally anyone got any ideas??

im stumped HELP!!

sounds like you may want to invest in a new set of clocks

Not really, should be looking at about £15-20 for 2nd hand ones  :smiley:

this is going to sound really stupid but new clocks does mean new mileage doesnt it? some descriptions on second hand clocks state the mileage but some dont.

even better! went to go sort it out check it hadnt been earthed out oddly or anything and unplugged the clock set took it all out had a clean up put clocks back in plugged in and they reset themselves back only thing i lost was the time :smug:
