Breather pipe and throttle, help...
« on: 13 November 2010, 23:00 »
My VW keeps cutting out, it happens when i slow down or move into the lower gears...

I have been told the breather pipe is split and that my throttle need cleaning. I want to do it myself, if its not to complicated.

Any advice, would be great...Also, I have no idea what they look like or where I would find them in the engine.

'Peter and Jane' styled advice would be appreciated, as I havnt much experience in this area, but am willing to give it a try.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you could give us a teeny tiny bit of help and let us know what your VW is?

Advice will *slightly* depend on your response.....
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
