16v Gti and mk4 1.8t engine mounts

Are these the same? If not would the mk4 ones fit into a mk3 bay for a 1.8t conversion?

Asking as I have an 8v and so will need to upgrade my mounts

Run the mk3 mounts, VR spec will be fine

What would be the best place to get some from? ecp be good enough or should I get genuine from the stealers?

also how do I tell the difference between 8v and 16v? I know ecp can be pretty crap at getting it right first time

I believe 8 and 16v are the same, vr and diesel are / should be strong mounts.

Worth replacing them all whilst the engine is out.
