Tin Top Window Regulators
« on: 10 November 2010, 10:14 »
Hi all,

Just bought my first mk1 as a project :) 3 door 'c' with a 1.6 scirocco kjet lump. Coming from a mk4 polo, mk2 golf driver and current daily mk3 16v I'm after a bit of help.

Apologies if it's already been covered but where can I get a new/replacement window regulator? Seen plenty of ones for a mk1 cab on eBay but they don't mention tin top so presume they don't fit?

Thanks!

yeah cabby regulator is different to tintop im afraid! i think they have been modded to fit but its not easy as they work in a completly different way. not even worth bothering unless you want to go electric
