well its happened, have gone over a year with no accidents, but it seems all good things come to an end! had a minor bump with some retard that obviously never should have passed there test, and now it seems that it has bent my traction arm...dont really know yet how bad the damage is as its not gone to the garage yet, was just wondering how much things like that generally cost to repair?..am i gonna be forkin out a load of dollar ?, or is it not that bad?..i know ive not given much info, but til i go garage im not gonna know. just thought id word it with you guys first to see what you reckon.
any help will be much appreciated

All depends on whether its going to be an insurance jobby or a cash job. If its not your fault then get your car into your local VW repairer, order all genuine VW parts and pass onto the other persons insurance.

it will be cash jobby......i know the tw@ that did it  and have agreed not to go thro insurance as i dont wanna claim and neither do they..so to try not to bump our claims up we doin it between us..silly i know..but as much of a tw@ this person is..i know the reasons.
still...back to more pressing things..is a traction rod expensive to re-fit?, they hit my driver wheel when it was on full lock to the right, and we took the wheel of today and you can see the bend in it..hopefully thats all thats wrong, but ya can never be too sure can you?
