None things for sure, that shaft isn't off an 02J box.

What engine is your car?

It's a 1.8 turbo.
Same as the guy on the previous page who's posted a picture of his 1.8t up in the air with the box out. He's got the same style driveshafts as me.  Not sure what box it is, I know for snizzle it's a 5 speed though!  I keep going for sixth and it ain't there!!

the bolts you need are 48mm long but im having bit difficulty with etka deciding if there m8 or m10 (think m8 but dont take my word as gospel)

I do have some nice bolts that Jordy sent with the new shaft which would be long enough, but they're too thin!  I'm pretty sure they are M8 and the original ones off the car are M10.
I'm not sure if I got longer bolts if they'd be thin enough to go through the holes in the new joint!

You sure it'd be okay having odd driveshafts?

it'll be ok having odd driveshafts, but if m10 bolts wont fit through the driveshafts cv (unless you can drill out the holes) then it wont fit.

both shafts are listed in etka as having m8 and m10 versions, the one youve been sent is for

AHW,AKQ,AGP,AQM,AEH,AKL,AGN,APK,AQY,AGR,ALH,AHF

it will work with your engine, its just these versions need an extra wide cv for some reason

Hi Houston,

Thanks for that.  I'll go get some nice big high tensile bolts at lunch and get my drills out and see if I can't make them holes bigger!
I am a technician but just had a moment!
I appreciate everyone's comments, I hope one day I can return the favour.
I also can't complain about the price Jordy gave me for the shaft!
Sorted, now to sort out the running problems!  Fitting a MAF this afternoon after I broke mine when cleaning it!  DOH
Exhaust manifold gaskets and a possible head gasket and I'll be there!  Loosing a bit of coolant and white smoke when idling!

Okay, didn't work, sent it back to Jordy for a refund and bought one from these guys  http://stores.ebay.co.uk/J-R-TRADING-UK-LTD   off ebay. Fitted first time and at £68 with postage, can't complain and, 2 year guarantee!

Sweet!
