hi all im gonna make a tester today to see if i have any leaks as im loosing boost again.... has anyone got a step by step guide on how to test the system on my 1.8t? cheers all :cool:

hi mate, i watched a guide on youtube, search for boost leak testing 1.8t, theres guides that tell u what 2 blank off ect veryhelp full, i used the guides to find a leak on my girlfriends 1.8t

is this what your after? if not try adjusting the search on youtube as there loads of helpful stuff beaware of the crap on there to mate.

do a search on here mate i posted in a thread a couple of days ago how to make a boost leak tester.. its simple and shouldn't cost more than about 15 quid..

mine cost nowt, i used a bean tin (lol) a tank conector (as i'm a plumber i had 1 in my van) some copper pipe (also in my van) and a air tester used for dry testing pipe work! simples
