1.4 problem

Hi guys i am after a bit of help.
I bought my girlfrien a mk4 1.4 not so long ago. I am now having a bit of trouble with it.

When the car first starts up it is misbehaving! It has no power at all, idles badly and can go out when you accelorate. When the car warms up it seems a lot better- fine infact.

Does it have a 2 stage automatic choke like my mk2 golf and scirocco? Is it this 1st stage of the choke that is at fault?
Does anybody have any advice on how i can fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats cause its a 1.4 :grin: :grin:

Sorry could'nt resist.  Can't help with your problem sorry mate, have you tried the search function on here?  If not ask a local garage/dealership for some advice
