mk2 golf loom swap.

probably been asked a milion times on here but:

1.6 ryder hazard warning on the steering collom to 1.8 gti digi hazard warning switch on the collom.

i need as much info as i can get on this as i have a good 1.6 shell and i want to put a my digi engine from my rotten gti into it.

i know i need to take the fuel pump from the gti and i have labels to label everything up!

also what do i need to consider to get rid of the mfa? going to use vdo guages on the car so they will tell me what i really need to know.

is it harder to remove it or to put it on the new car?

May as well just fit the mfa function as well, it will be easier.

Loom wise you will need to fit engine bay loom from gti, and front to rear loom from the gti as well as the small loom piece down to the undercar fuel pump.

If the ryder does not have central locking and the gti does then swop the bootlid loom as well, you will need to swop the dash loom as well possibly, you definately will if you want to keep the gti heated washer jets

May be a few extra relays etc to fit as well but you may as well just swop the fuseboxes over
