I'm Tom and new to the forum and not even sure if i'm posting correctly
I've got a 97 plate Mk3 gti 8v and had a few issues of late. The most worrying one being the engine cutting off at a roundabout, but lifting the clutch kicked it back to life. However the power cut actually reset the clock as if the battery was disconnected. Any ideas?
Also need a new cat, any suggestions on a 3rd party one, vw want over £700!! Mental!
