mk3 gti 8v colour concept

Maybe got the chance of a gti mk3 colour concept with 89000 miles, full service history, red, 97 on a p.
drives spot on, couple of blisters on rear quarter but nothing horendous.
My question what should I expect to pay for this as the owner said he is open to offers, ive been out of the game for a while now having owned an impreza for the last 3 years and am looking for a gti again.

id say bout 1k or so, maybe a tad more if it was mint, buyers market at the mo tho

Yeah thats what I thought, but I have a sneaky suspicion he is hanging out for around for 1400 quid which to me is far too much, I was thinking around the 900-1000 mark as I would need to get the blisters rubbed down and sprayed.

yeah around the 1k probally be value.

but all depends the condtion , and what you said sound like its been looked after.

i went to see a fair few mk3 before bought mine , most we cack, not looked after at all.

somtimes worth paying the money for a mint one. as there hard to find.

as would rather have a higher milage one that been looked after then a low milage which hasnt.
