Hi all
Hoping you could help me with this problem.
The cars a 1993 5 door GL.
Water seems to be leaking into the rear near side corner of the car while parked making the rear seat wet. Ive had a quick look but cannot see any reason why.
Has anyone experienced this before and has any idea of the cause and how to fix it. thanks. Adam.

Check the window seals mate, that would be the first thing I would check.

Problem sorted!!

After spending an afternoon looking for the cause Ive found the route of the problem. The drain for the sunroof runs above the headlining then down? the near side back corner. The pipe had blocked its self causing water to come over the drainage tray that surrounds the sunroof.Water had made its way along the headlining then down the rear pillar to the seat. After the recent weather all seems dry so I think its cured. Hope this can help someone in the future. It might be an idea to check the sunroof drain is clear by opening the sunroof then pouring water into the tray then making sure it runs cleanly from the near side corner.

Rgds? ?Adam.?
