what are the size of 5dr mk3 speakers? mine sound poo and want some direct fit uprated 1s.

On the door? I do believe they're 16.5cm / 17cm. I got 17cm in atm (on my 3dr though) and they fit alright.
Pretty sure there isn't any difference between the two... could always measure 'em?

+1 on the 17cm size.

I squeezed a pair of these in the other day,

Took a bit of tweaking the housing and grill, changed the speaker connections to standard spade terminals. All looks totaly standard now though and sounds a million times better than factory fit.
