I have recently(ten days ago) bought a 2002 GT150 TDI. It goes very well and does not lack power although there are a couple of things that I am concerned about.
1) Every so often, regardless of speed or gear the car seems to pull back as if it misfires slightly. It happens at around 2000 RPM usually and I think it is more when the car is running at a constant speed as I dont notice it when accelerating.
2) Whilst accelerating the car occationally makes a whirring noise, I think it is the turbo but it does not sound right.
Prior to this car I had a 58 plate GT 170 and know that an older car will make certain noises, however these two don't sit well with me. Please could someone advose what they think it could be.
