engine upgrade

I am looking at fitting a 1.8T into my mk3 golf  :smiley: does anyone know a good company that can do this or supply the engine and bits to do the job myself

Just put a Vr6 in it m8 ;)
I had a 1.8T and was'nt very happy with it so i sold it and got a Vr6 and put the remaining 3 grand in the bank :D

I would go with burnsy on this one the vr6 will be a lot faster than a 1.8t

Or ya could have a 2.0 litre 16v with a bit of head and cam work plus the usual filter and exhaust stuff would give as much power and be more reliable than either of them! :laugh:

TSR in Bristol would do that for ya.

selling up and getting a '6 is prob the best option
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...
