right well ordered the gasket from audi they dint have it in stock so have to wait til fri  :rolleyes:

im hoping i have have ordered the right one  :undecided:

an just rang my mate who runs agarage an hes gonna see how much it will cost to fit ... but needs to work out times

so how long dpes it norm take to fit a turbo-downpipe gasket?

Say 1 hours labour tops to fit Linz

Gasket is taking a while, normally they get them next day.

ah i can cope with an hours labour lol i will drop car off thursday so she can be done as soon as gasket arrives

an yh ud think they would get next day but nope the gasket was pretty cheap though

im jus worried i have the wrong one :s as you said i should get it for the tt225 would that be the bam engine?

yeh think thats the one hun. Like i also mentioned im sure the K03/K03s & K04-001 run the same manifold gasket, just a different way around.

well i ordered one that would norm be for the bam engine

fingers crossed its the right one cant deal with any more bloody dramas  :laugh:

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, but the gasket from the manifold to turbo is the same for the K03 and K04 however the one from turbo to the down pipe are completely different. The K03 series and K04-001 have a 4 bolt flange and gasket, where as the other K04 series are 3 bolt flanges and gaskets.

ah dont know about part number as he ordered it for me once i told him wat i (u) wanted lol

an yh if its wrong hulmie i shall blame you

littco yes i new there was summit bout the 3/4 bolt difference

well fingers crossed an for hulmies sake i have the right one on order  :tongue:

littco - i was thinking of the manifold to turbo gasket. D'oh.

Linz - it'll still be right if you order the turbo to downpipe gasket for a Audi TT 225 with BAM engine with a K04-022.
