New Mk3 owner
« on: 05 July 2010, 08:45 »
Hi All

I am now the owner of a cracking little 1998 Mk3 Gti 8v.  I bought it as I needed a new daily as my Bay window camper failed its MOT.  Rather than patch it up to get it through I bought the Golf so I could take my time sorting the bus out.

I was on a tight budget so I plumped for the MK3.  Would of loved to go for something like a MK4 1.8T but this will do just fine :)

Its a dark blue 1998 completely standard 8v model will a one or 2 little dents in it but these are not that bad.  Interior is mint and the engine has only done 90k miles and had the cambelt done at 71k. Its got a full service history from VW as well :D  Its only covered 19k miles in the last 4 years.

Its not blistering quick but its just right for my needs.  I'm sure if I have any questions then I will be back to ask them.

Ta all

David
