took the other side off today, though i would add this in for the lols

the previous owners bodge of the strut top, pictures say it all but he has welded a weight to the original rusted top and then stuck a washer on the top of that

im not sure how good the weld is  :grin: i will get some more pics once i get my spring clamps off the other shock and get the top off this one

why would someone want to add weight (s) to a mk3? (unless they guessed the rust was an equal saving?)  :shocked:
